Or Firstly use the Ellipse auto shape to create the oval shape, then create a second ellipse of the inverse curve you require. Then overlap inverse curve ellipse over first ellipse in a higher layer, select both elements and select Modify > Combine Paths > punch. This should give you the desired oval with inverse curve.
